Apple’s past pattern points to mid-December. 9to5Mac expected the release to align with historic patterns for x.2 updates, landing in mid-December. In India, Apple updates usually appear in the late evening, since Apple typically publishes at about 10 AM Pacific time. In December that works out to roughly 11:30 PM IST, though rollouts are staggered, so some phones see the update the next morning.
One more update is likely before then. iOS 27.2.1 is expected to focus on bug and security fixes rather than new features.
What’s new in iOS 27.3
Apple’s biggest update to iOS 27 since September adds Safari changes, a wider Siri AI, and the return of the redesigned Health app. The highlights:

Siri AI works in English here, but not in Hindi. For India, Siri AI is currently available in English, and Hindi and other Indian languages aren’t listed. iOS 27.3 adds Siri AI in Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Turkish and Norwegian, so Hindi isn’t part of this update either. You can still mix Hindi and other Indian languages with English for basic commands like calls, timers and messages.

How to install the iOS 27.3 beta
You can sign up on Apple’s beta testing website, then install through Software Update in Settings. The steps:
- Back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer first. Betas can have bugs, and this protects your data.
- Open beta.apple.com on your iPhone and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Enrol your iPhone in the public beta program.
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
